What exactly is Plantfi?
Plantfi is a two-part technology. An innovative hardware sensor that is meant for your house plant, and a beautifully designed app to help you keep track of information. The combination of the two technologies enables you to take better care of your plants through information access, notifications, and app engagement!
How does it connect?
The device is WiFi and Bluetooth enabled. This makes it possible for the monitoring device to stay connected to your app and to make sure you are always in the know of what is going on with your plants. All you need to do is set up the plant on your app and you will be prompted to connect your device!
Who is the product good for?
This is a product designed for every plant parent by a plant parent. The product was designed with plant parents in mind, whether you have 1 plant, 5 plants, or 50 plants; the product was made to improve your plant life. It is simple and directed to make sure that plant parents are always supported!
How do I use it?
The process of using the device is straightforward! All you need is the monitoring device and the app set up on your phone. Once in the app you need to navigate to the “add plant” section of the app and add in your new plant. You will be prompted to connect to the device and once that is done you are good to go!
Will it keep my plants alive?
The product is not designed to keep your plants alive on their own, rather it is designed to help you better keep them alive. The information helps you constantly know what is going on with your plants and helps you ensure that every action is intentional. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to keep your plants alive.
Does it work for any houseplant?
The product is designed to work with any and all common and rare house plants. Our algorithm is special because it will fine-tune the monitor readings for the specific type of plant you have. This makes it possible for the device to work with a wide range of plants!
Does it only work with certain soil?
Similar to working with any type of plant, the product is designed to work with different soil mixtures. After intensive research, we developed a way for you to input your soil mix and adjust your readings accordingly.
